Proposal for Video Production Services

We're thrilled to have the chance to bid on Access Point's upcoming video production project, especially given our shared history of successful collaboration. Working with Access Point in the past has been such a rewarding experience, and we're excited about the possibility of joining forces again soon.

With our extensive background, from producing Emmy award-winning educational content for National Geographic to crafting Telly award-winning commercials, Philamedia is ready to bring Access Point's creative vision to life once more. We’re confident that together, we can create something truly engaging.

Relevant Work

With over a decade of experience, Philamedia and its team of award-winning filmmakers have served clients across Philadelphia, the nation, and the world. Trusted by major brands such as eBay, Planet Fitness, and Adobe.

Another similar project we created was for Foot Locker and Puma. With international superstar J. Blavin, we filmed a dynamic roundtable-style discussion series for the national brands. This collaboration highlighted our ability to foster open dialogue, deeply understand the client’s vision, and ensure every voice was heard. It also showcases our ability to elevate a simple concept into something engaging and exciting for wide audiences. This is Philamedia’s approach—listening closely and translating ideas into visual stories that resonate.

Letter of Recommendation

“I have worked with several film and media companies in the past, and I found Philamedia far above and beyond their competitors.”

Our work on Greatest Sports Legends: Then and Now is a prime example of how Philamedia thrives under the pressure of tight budgets and quick turnarounds—something we know will be crucial for Access Point's project. We were challenged to relaunch a national brand that needed to resonate with a broad audience while racing against the clock.

By combining meticulous planning with creative flexibility, we brought life to the client’s well-researched sports scripts, developed talent, and crafted a production pace that was both engaging and approachable. The result? A nationally syndicated show entering its 4th season, consistently outperforming competitors. This experience positions us perfectly to take on your project with the same focus, energy, and creativity.

Pre-Production: Concept Development and Script Writing

In pre-production, Philamedia will collaborate closely with Access Point to shape the creative direction for each project. We’ll develop three unique concepts for each production: two that are serious in tone and grounded in real-life cases from Access Point’s history, plus a third concept that brings a lighter, more accessible feel. This range of concepts will offer diverse ways to connect with the target audience, ensuring that the final approach is both authentic and compelling. From this starting point, Philamedia will script out both of the chosen concepts, with Access Point be invited to give input and feedback.

Production: Cinematic and Cost-Effective Execution

For production, we propose a single-camera, cinematic approach, capturing the experience with a sleek, modern aesthetic. Philamedia will handle all casting and creative oversight, as well as location scouting and procurement. A vertical monitor will bring guests into the discussion virtually, creating a roundtable-like setup that’s visually engaging and easy to replicate across episodes, keeping costs manageable without sacrificing style.

Post-Production: Real-Time Collaboration for Efficiency

To ensure a seamless workflow, our post-production process will run concurrently with principal photography. Dailies will be sent to our offsite editors in real-time, allowing for immediate client feedback and adjustments. This integrated approach keeps the project on track, ensures timely delivery, and results in a polished final product that fully reflects Access Point’s vision.

Technical Mumbo Jumbo

We use high-spec camera bodies and cinema-grade lenses to capture footage in 4K resolution or higher, ensuring the project remains high-quality and evergreen. Final deliverables can be provided in any preferred format or codec, and, when network connectivity allows, we can utilize a Blackmagic Camera-to-Cloud system for instant footage access. This setup provides both quality and flexibility, ready to meet any future needs for reuse or reformatting.

Have less budget to spend? More wiggle room?

Let us know! We’ll walk through the line items and show you how best to scale up or down the production.

⦿ Custom Graphics and Integrated Branding

Included in the budget is the costs of post-production graphics and text that will reflect Access Point’s pre-existing brand.

⦿ Locations Options

We’re prepared to utilize a teaching hospital or build a set appropriate to the space. As we discuss further, we could identify which is more appropriate. However, we believe filming in a studio would be the best environment.

⦿ Storyboarding

We recommend storyboarding for this project as a way to insure that all stakeholders are on the same page, as well as a way to save money on the Production Budget. Shot lists and script supervisors will also be employed to keep things organized.
