Proposal for Video Production Services

We're thrilled to have the chance to bid on Access Point's upcoming video production project, especially given our shared history of successful collaboration. Working with Access Point in the past has been such a rewarding experience, and we're excited about the possibility of joining forces again soon.

With our extensive background, from producing Emmy award-winning educational content for National Geographic to crafting Telly award-winning commercials, Philamedia is ready to bring Access Point's creative vision to life once more. We’re confident that together, we can create something truly engaging.

Relevant Work

With over a decade of experience, Philamedia and its team of award-winning filmmakers have served clients across Philadelphia, the nation, and the world. Trusted by major brands such as eBay, Planet Fitness, and Adobe.

Another similar project we created was for Foot Locker and Puma. With international superstar J. Blavin, we filmed a dynamic roundtable-style discussion series for the national brands. This collaboration highlighted our ability to foster open dialogue, deeply understand the client’s vision, and ensure every voice was heard. It also showcases our ability to elevate a simple concept into something engaging and exciting for wide audiences. This is Philamedia’s approach—listening closely and translating ideas into visual stories that resonate.

Letter of Recommendation

“I have worked with several film and media companies in the past, and I found Philamedia far above and beyond their competitors.”

Our work on Greatest Sports Legends: Then and Now is a prime example of how Philamedia thrives under the pressure of tight budgets and quick turnarounds—something we know will be crucial for Access Point's project. We were challenged to relaunch a national brand that needed to resonate with a broad audience while racing against the clock.

By combining meticulous planning with creative flexibility, we brought life to the client’s well-researched sports scripts, developed talent, and crafted a production pace that was both engaging and approachable. The result? A nationally syndicated show entering its 4th season, consistently outperforming competitors. This experience positions us perfectly to take on your project with the same focus, energy, and creativity.

During pre-production, Philamedia’s creative team will work closely with Access Point to shape a filming approach that not only aligns with but elevates the project’s vision. We're excited to propose a sleek, modern aesthetic that focuses on 1-2 hosts interviewing guests selected by Access Point. To make the experience both contemporary and personal, the guest will join the discussion via a vertical monitor, creating a roundtable feel that engages viewers in a fresh way. This also allows us to create a simple, replicable look on a very affordable budget.

For production, we recommend a three-camera setup to capture a dynamic range of angles, while also doing much of the editing live via a switching board. This will speed up the turn around time, while also keeping the post-production budget streamlined. With three cameras, we strike the perfect balance between value and creative flexibility, allowing us to maximize the production’s impact while staying within budget.

Our post-production process will begin in parallel with principal photography. As we shoot, dailies will be sent in real-time to our offsite editors, ensuring immediate feedback and client review. This streamlined approach keeps everything on track and guarantees a polished final product that meets your vision. Now is the time to move forward with a team that understands your goals and can deliver on them.

Tech Mumbo Jumbo

We shoot on high-spec camera bodies with cinema-grade lenses, and deliver final cuts in 4K resolution or higher . Shooting on these bodies and lenses mean the footage will be evergreen, and its high quality will be retained for years to come. We can hand over final deliverables in any format/codec that’s needed. During the shoot, we are also capable of providing a Blackmagic Camera-to-Cloud uplink if the location’s network connectivity allows.

Have less budget to spend? More wiggle room?

Let us know! We’ll walk through the line items and show you how best to scale up or down the production.

⦿ Custom Graphics and Integrated Branding

Included in the budget is the costs of post-production graphics and text that will reflect Access Point’s pre-existing brand.

⦿ Locations Options

We’re prepared to utilize a teaching hospital or build a set appropriate to the space. As we discuss further, we could identify which is more appropriate. However, we believe filming in a studio would be the best environment.

⦿ Remote Client Reviewing

Our workflow is enabled to upload dailies same-day (and with the right location circumstances, footage can be streamed) for client review.

Out-of-House Rental Gear!

We can save an enormous amount of money by using only equipment that Philamedia has in-house. Besides lensing, we own and maintain everything we’d need to run an efficient, high-spec production.

Storyboarding

We don’t recommend storyboarding this project. Shot lists and script supervisors may be employed to keep things organized, but we feel that storyboarding would be redundant, subject to change, and inflate cost unnecessarily.

Talent Booking

Talent booking can be a significant expense for projects like this. We recommend that Access Point's main point of contact manage this aspect instead. This approach will not only help reduce costs but also give Access Point the flexibility to feature guests whose stories align perfectly with their creative vision.
