Traveling to Paris (we're filming in the Parisian catacombs this week!) we had a layover in Reykjavik to make use of. There's a bit of an unfair advantage for photographers in Iceland; the photos basically take themselves because it's just so dang beautiful. Check out some stills from our 20 hours in the country:
Fleeing civil war in South Sudan, 14 year-old Shamira and her disabled mother seek refuge in Uganda. In this five-year story, she works to become a lawyer to fight for her people, and make the journey back to her homeland- the same journey that nearly killed her.
With Chapter 1 set to release in June 2018, The Bricks will be part of a five-year/five-part docu-series following stories like Shamira's through South Sudan's changing political climate.
BTS photos by Nick Rose. Shoutout to him and Brandon Gulish for making this project happen.
This week, we started production on a documentary project. There's not too much more to say right now, but here are a few stills to tease our work!
Thursday was the final night of our four days at the 2016 DNC. Thanks to Gov. Rendell for the invitation to shoot the convention. We also shot a few photos around town, since the city has been sort of star-spangled this past week.
Speakers featured Gov. Cuomo, Gov. Wolf, Katy Perry, Carole King, and more, with Hillary Clinton headlining/accepting her nomination. Here is our photo coverage of Night 4! Click "Older" at the bottom of the page to see the previous nights!
Skipping around a little bit on the blog- we'll post from Night 2 a little later, but for now, here's some photos from the 2016 DNC Night 3. Wednesday was the night Tim Kaine accepted his VP nomination, and Obama gave his speech/endorsement. Other guests included Michael Bloomberg, Gabby Giffords, Joe Biden, Lenny Kravitz, and more! See the rest of our photo work from the DNC here on our blog!
